The Old Smiddy Guest House is strictly non-smoking.

Tea/coffee making facilities are available in all bedrooms.

All bedrooms have  televisions, radio alarms, hair-dryers, dressing gowns, slippers
and  bottled  drinking water.

WiFi is available in the guest house.

Guests have all-day access to their bedrooms and the guest lounge,
where there is a range of tourist information, books, maps
and board games available for their use.

Evening meals are available by prior arrangement on most days of the week.
Menus are discussed with guests where possible.

As we are unlicensed guests are welcome to bring their own wine to consume
with their evening meal.
The local shops at Laide and Aultbea  stock a small selection of wines and spirits.
(The nearest shop open on a Sunday is 15 miles away)

Packed lunches are available if requested.

Children are welcome but we do not have special facilities for them.

Small pets are accepted  by prior arrangement.

Parking is available.

We are pleased to welcome payment by cheque or cash in pounds or euros and we also accept a deposit in pounds sterling using an internet bank transfer.
We do not have facilities to accept credit/debit cards.
